This wasn't right.  Someone had done something to the store.

Andrew stood in the middle of the shop and gawked.  It looked like a rogue Disney designer had had his or her way with the Magic Box.

"This is totally awesome," he said.  "I think I hate it."  He really wasn't sure.

The past few weeks of work were finally coming to a head, and Charlotte was both nervous and excited and getting herself worked up into a frenzy with making sure everything was perfect. Andrew was sitting behind the counter, looking off into space.  There was a large book on alchemy sitting in front of him, but he hadn't opened it.

Andrew took some time and reworked the display of scented candles, moving the more popular scents to the far end of the shelf so customers would consider the other ones first. Then he made up a little sign to tout the benefits of slug scented candles:

Andrew was unpacking and cataloging the latest shipment. There was an entire box of shrunken head key chains, and he was trying to sort them out according to hair color. They were surprisingly life-like, which he was totally ignoring, because, um, gross.
